Detect motion - Camera's

tcviper

Question

Hello there all,

Does anyone know if its possible to detect motion in specific assigned areas with HC2 from Axis cams? We used to do this with DS CAM (Synology), but id prefer to use Fibaro for this aswell. It would be very handy if it could send out a push notification to our mobile when motion is detected (lots of motion, for example a person moving) within an assigned area.

Thx!

Unless they have dedicated motion sensors, you need some sort of software to detect if there is motion in the room by comparing changes between frames. The HC2 won't do this for you, so you need a proxy between your cams and the hc to run the detection software. Unless ofcause the camera has the function built in to its' firmware.

And then i can send a notification over http, tcp, ftp, network share and email.

Question is, how do i get that to notify in fibaro to our phones.
