How do you put special characters or pictures in the botton of virtual devices? For example: up arrow

Do you mean you want to put a picture of an up arrow or an button with an up arrow?

If you want to use special characters e.g. in VD's label, simply copy and paste them from another source. You can also use so called alt-codes symbols. For example, to put triangle hold down ALT, enter 3 and 0 on your num pad and release ALT. Hope that was your question.
