Please help me undertstanding this strange behaviour:

Sensor is working well , the door movement is detected

by HC2.

Sometimes the blue led flashes 2 times during the detection & sometimes only one.

Sometimes , after closing the windows , the blue led start flashing with a frequency of about 0.5 HZ

and it keeps flashing for about 2 minutes; then it stop flashing and may be after few minutes starts flashing again.

What does it mean?

This behaviour drains the battery life

Does anyone have the same issues ?

Anyone knows the led's blink code meaning?

Fast blinking may indicate problems with communication to HC. How far is the sensor form controller? Is it possible to put any mains powered device between sensor and HC?

Hi , I don't think about communication problem because HC2 detects very fast door opening / closing event (also during fast blinking).

This sensor is the closest to HC2 about 3 meters on open field (obstacles free).

    Any others suggestions?

Same problem. I have 8 door sensors, but only started blinking last week. 2 batteries gone ((

I tried to reset it - does not work.

    My opinion - hardware problem.

I have the same problem with 1 of my door sensors.  When the battery is just inserted it seems to work fine. It blinks one time or 2 times when opening/closing the door. But after a few hours the sensor is blinking  a lot (14 times or more) Sensor is not possible to reset. Also exclude and include does not help. Door open close is detected.

And yes the battery is gone within a month.

I also believe this is caused by faulty hardware,. I have opened a case. Lets see what Fibaro support has to say.
