How deactivate a scene from another scene?

Hi forum,

I want to create an away mode scene, when i run away mode scene it should deactivate some scenes which are running daily and arm the house.

how can i deactivate particular scenes from another scene and the scenes should be in deactivate untill i stop the away mode scene.

Not an expert, but i guess creating a global variable called something like:

'awayModeActive'

Let your away mode scene set a value for this variable and in your other scripts check the value of the awayModeActive variable. In that case you can escape/quit your scene whene the awayModeActive variable is set.
