Fibaro Motion Sensor FGMS-001 setting led blinking off

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I included the Motion sensor in Homeseer, succesfully and used it during the holidays. All working fine.

Since I have one of these "Eyes" placed in the livingroom the massive blinking of the device was concidered as not being pleasant. So I deceided to try and swich the led blinking off.

To make this happen I woke up the device and changed the value 80 into 80=0 instead of the standard value of 10.

After changing the led signaling mode to 0 it looks like the device is not operating properly any more. Laying on the table a few hours after the change it seemed to work. The on-motion and off-motion where reported. Than after puttingit into its place. The device does not report any changes any more.... Looks like it's stuck on the last on-motion it reported.

Also waking it up (blue light stays on for a while) did not bring any changes.

Any advise on this? Or is it not possible operate the sensor without the signal leds blinking all the time

Did not change any other value.

This is the device info I get in Homeseer:

Fibaro 800 H 1001 H (no listening device) 3.67 (Unknown ZDK Version) App: 2.6

SENSOR BINARY, WAKE UP, ASSOCIATION V2, BATTERY, MULTI CMD, 86, MANUFACTURER SPECIFIC, VERSION, CONFIGURATION V2, MULTI INSTANCE ASSOCIATION, SENSOR MULTILEVEL, SENSOR ALARM

After setting up the sensor in HS2, it did not work very well. Deceded to try in HS3. The main problem with the sensor is, that it is in sleeping mode for a very long time. So to get the device in H33 one needs to wake the device up, severa times and than scan the device settings. Now it's working, without the leds blinking as a disco

Still, it would be nice if there is a way to wake the device up direcly in Homeseer. I am running the latest z-wave beta plugin in HS3.
