Hi,

I've got the plugin kinda working, but not at all ..

I've worked out to go to dev.netatmo.com and started an app.

I've got my secret number and auth name, all good ..

but when i click get devices, i don't actually get anything ?

my Netatmo web tells me it is good to go, the HC2 tells me it is connected .. but clicking get devices still does nothing ?

Can anyone point me to what i am missing ??

Is there a step I've mucked up ?

They launched dev.fibaro service and (as usual) it's not working properly at all.

Try to register or do something.

Trust me, for 2 years there was a lot of promises, finally we've got extremely unreliable / buggy software. May be in 3-4 years it will be better.

I'll better go another way with something which works right now.

shapa, indeed at the beginning too big traffic caused some problems but now everything work fine. But if you are still having any troubles with entering developer.fibaro.com please share them with us and we will be happy to assist you.

? It's not an intuitive step, but some "investigative googling" and blind luck helped me stumble across it

If not .. basically you sign up there, add a new app, fill in the required stuff, i just made up a name, then you get the secret and other key to fill in on the hc2 Advanced screen.

Then save, then click get devices .. and it will tell you eventually that it is connected. It's actually more straightforward than it sounds. It also gives you access to all the api info at dev.netatmo.com.

Then when you look at your netatmo app you have the fibaro app name you made up showing in Settings/My third Party Apps on your phone as well.

Alan thanks for that, thats what I did alright, thought i'd missed some magic step but don't get any devices. I've filled in all the fields but it doesn't connect. Just get not connected in the plugin.

Ahh, yeah OK, so go back to netatmo dev and reset the keys and then use them. it didn't work with the first generated keys when i did it last night, but happened almost straight away when i copied and pasted the second set.

Mind you .. I don't know if being connected means I've got it working yet till I get home...

They are there but hidden hidden ?? It says 4 devices in unassigned, but shows nothing ?

A.Socha, When I click Get devices in the plugin, nothing happens ( or nothing appears to happen ? )

I'm almost confident it is something to do with the get devices button ?

My unassigned room is full of zeros. Main netatmo plugin shows that it is connected.

Thanks Alan, i removed the device in HC, regenerated the keys and added it back and now i'm connected but not seeing any data / devices bar the netatmo one i created.

Same problem here, plugin says that it's connected, but the button to get devices isn't doing anything.

1. install plugin on HC2

2. go to

and login with your data

3. create new "app"

4. clik on that app you will find there

Client id

Client secret

5. go back to hc2 and chose add plugin

6. go to adv tab and fill all inputs

Username - your login for example [email protected]

Password - your password

Clinet ID - from app what you created

Client secret - from app what you created

7. save

Check on you account setting on site

is in 3rd part plugins are info about your app if yes then after while it should show status connect on HC2

If it will be after 5minutes still empty try restart hc2 and check again when it will show go to next step

now you can press button "Get Devices"

as result you should saw something like that
