Looks like people might run into buggy characters if the manifest code is copied from a webpage. Also, I did read about the particular way to zip the plugin files, but still did it the wrong way (there's some unnecessary frustration generation). So be sure to go into the folder where all the plugin files are, select all, and add that to an archive, rather than zipping the folder one level up (hope that makes sense).

Actually managed to get a plugin installed now. Cheers.

Ok, so uploading a plugin based on the Foscam example worked, but I cannot really add it. I press the "Add" button, and nothing happens. Tried to find out what exactly happens when I try to add a plugin, but cant figure it out. I have the feeling that something is missing or in the wrong place.

Does anyone have a simple plugin that can be actually added, and is willing to share that? Or, as my previous request stated, Fibaro, can we have a working plugin template zip file?
