I have now searched the forum regarding solutions to the problem with my new Motion sensor that after a short period of time get stuck on breached, don't update lux and so on...

I have found quite a few posts regarding this problem, but I cannot find any definite solution to this.. Everywhere it says changing some of the parameter could fix the prob.. But in every post someone returns that it doesn't fix the prob.. Then i found a post that the new v4 should fix the prob, but again someone says that it doesn't...

What do I do with my brand new motion sensor, that doesn't work? Shall I get an exchange or is there a working fix?

Have you tried restarting your HC2 regarding the time stucked on breach?

my motion sensor is stuck on breached also fixed to restart it so the same problem.

What is the problem?!!!

Such behavior of Motion Sensor can have different reasons. Firstly, make sure that environment the module was installed into is appropriate. It must be placed inside, not in direct sunlight nor in high humidity or spot with radical temperature changes. Next thing is to check if breach is not caused by tamper. Please, reduce its sensitivity with advanced parameter 20, or even disable it.

    Just upgrade from HCL to HC2 and for now the problem has gone.. Will try adjusting the parameter 20 if it gets stuck again.

    So doesn't this mean that this was in fact a software problem ie HCL software for whatever reason does not work but in HC2 it's working fine?

    Right now it works.. But it did that on the HCL too until it suddenly got stuck in "breached"..

    I use hc2.

    Mine has stuck in the same way when I was on holiday.

    Thought I had a burglar at home..

    Took out the battery, removed and added the sensor and then it started to work again.

    This was the only sulotion for me to get it working.
