Android app in background and alarm

Hi folks,

i have tried the android app with hc2. If alarm starts with opened android app, everything works as expected. but if i run the android app in background the alarm is not starting.

Is this a bug in the android app or can't it be used in background?

I want to get alarm on my android if i'm out of home ... and if i'm not at home the app is not running the whole time in foreground.

No you have to assume your alarm is going off and switch

or send a push notification to say alarm is going off then load app!

Easiest way would be just to have Fibaro implement it
