Interesting... But with a range of 50 cm and power availability that low, I'd like to know what sort of bitrate is achievable. I already see some congestion issues with z-wave as it is, so lowering the bitrate would mean using a much more efficient protocol. And how do you ensure that signals from thoussands of transceivers in your house doesn't interfere with the radiowaves from eachother?

And then the next issue arise: what about encryption and safety? The expanding IoT will also mean more hackers and general scum of the earth types will start to find it interesting and explore new possibilities of how to exploit it to their advantage.
