How to control Foscam FI9821W from Virtual Device

Question

Posted

Hello,

I wanted to control my foscam FI9821W from a virtual device, which I managed to do by using LUA in my HC2.

Now I also want achive the same controls (e.g. setting camera preset positions) by making use of strings, so I can export the virtual device to a Home Center Lite and have it work over there.

In LUA I have setup things like this:

local thismodule = fibaro:getSelfId();

local ip = fibaro:get(thismodule, 'IPAddress');

local port = fibaro:get(thismodule, 'TCPPort');

Foscam = Net.FHttp(ip, port)

Foscam:GET('/cgi-bin/CGIProxy.fcgi?&usr=xxxxxx&pwd=xxxxxx&cmd=ptzGotoPresetPoint&name=Preset01')

In a string I tried several things, but all don't work:

PUT /cgi-bin/CGIProxy.fcgi?&usr=xxxxxx&pwd=xxxxxx&cmd=ptzGotoPresetPoint&name=Preset01

/cgi-bin/CGIProxy.fcgi?&usr=xxxxxx&pwd=xxxxxx&cmd=ptzGotoPresetPoint&name=Preset01

Does anyone know how to control IP Camera from virtual device by using Strings?

Regards,

Richard
