Z-wave.me controller's device kind: Dimmer?

Question

Posted

Hi,

I used to have my Z-wave.me wall controller (4 buttons, ZME_WCD1) working well triggering different scenes.

I do not know if my problem is related to the latest HC2 beta but the controller stopped working and I can't make it work anymore. I have changed battery and I even deleted the earlier device in HC2 UI and added it again. Inclusion happened as expected but now the wall controller is identified as Dimmer.

I have set the old parameters (that used to work properly: 1=0, 2=0, 11=4, 12=4, 13=4, 14=4) but nothing happens anymore when pushing buttons.

Has anyone had similar problems or any ideas to solve this?

Mine basicly works ok but on HCL v 3.593.

But i just can't control slave devices on fibaro 2x1,5kW relays. Is there a way to control them on HCL through Z-wave.me controler?

donL, you updated your hc2 version?

Yes, I'm running 4.017. I don't know if that causes the issue but for some reason the controller is identified as dimmer - and I can't change it to remote controller (or whatever it used to be).

I like version 4 and would like to keep it.

Thanks, it's good to know that it's a bug and stop trying to solve this by myself. I'll cross my fingers and hope to get the next HC2 release soon.

I've updated HC2 to 4.018 and reinstalled the wall controller. It's still identified as a dimmer.
