Question

I've looked at the other threads on heating control, which have been a great help. I have a plan but before I do it I'd just want to make sure it makes sense

I want the new setup to setback the temp of the house if the alarm is in away mode and to set to frost-safe if alarm is in holiday mode (alarm will be able to notify HC2 via zwave). I want 4 main areas/zones in the house;
> downstairs - all at same temp and used at the same time,
> guest room & ensuite - only heated when guest staying ("Guest Mode"),
> landing, bedroom & bathroom - different timing and temp from downstairs,
> study (upstairs) - temp boosted when occupied.
The boiler will have 2 zones; upstairs and downstairs.
> Downstairs - Secure thermostat in the hall and regular TRVs on each rad. TRVs set normal comfort temp with the thermostat overriding / switching off heating if it's temp goes above comfort, away or holiday temps. Later I could upgrade this by adding Zwave TRVs to set different downstairs rooms to different temp but I think I'm ok without this ATM.
> Upstairs - One Secure thermostat in the landing - mainly to keep boiler off in warmer weather. Zwave TRVs for study, landing, bedroom and bathroom. Motion and temp sensor in the study. Regular TRVs for guest space that will be manually set. Later I could upgrade guest space with Zwave TRVs set based on "guest mode". During the day if I'm in the study (I work from home mostly) I can just heat the study if it calls for heat as the other rooms TRVs will be set at lower temps.
So I think I need 2 Secure thermostats and 2 actuators, plus several Zwave TRVs. This should work with the heating panel (except maybe the study boost thingy).
Does that make sense so far?
But I also need hot water for cylinder (boiler zone 3). I could use a standard timer but I'd like hot water to be suspended when alarm is in holiday mode (but I guess I could turn it off manually

Thanks,
Ewen

Can anyone help? The boiler has now been installed and I need to buy the bits to control it as soon as possible but not sure what to get.
