Manually set alarm frame?

Question

Posted

Hi!

Under the config of Fibaro switches and dimmers one can set how it should react when a general alarm is triggered, a smoke alarm, etc.

I have set a switch to sense the state of my alarm. I want this switch to set the general alarm frame.

Why?

Because I want my Fibaro system to start blinking lights around the house when the alarm is triggered on my external alarm.

So, can this be done? Can I manually set the alarm frame in a LUA scene based on the switch being turned on by my alarm?

Is the alarm frame sensed by all units in the network?

Also, how would I cancel the alarm frame?

Thanks

Piffis, you can set Switch and Dimmer to react on Alarm Frames, not send one. Maybe you should consider creating custom alarm scene and trigger it on some variable? What external alarm do you use?
