HCL api and Auth

Question

Posted

Hi,

I'm able to turn on a device using

Please login or register to see this link.

But I don't like to send in clear Admin credentials.

Is there a way to send http requests to HCL with "crypted" credentials?

I created another user not admin to perform the request but seems just Admin can do it.

Thanks a lot

Ale

You should be able to grant access for other users to control devices.

In access control panel click on users name and then edit access rights for devices / scenes.

    Thanks for prompt reply.

I tried that way too, non admin user that has control capabilities on that device but it doesn't work....

But my real problem is auth credentials sent in clear...I really don't like it
