Wiring relays to control Heat/HotWater using Fibaro

Recommended Posts

I have a HC2 at present. Now that the cold weather is setting in, I would like to change my existing Hot Water and Heating setup (which is traditional type) so that it can integrate with my HC2. I could get Hive system installed but it would be pointless as it will not integrate with my HC2.

I have 4 Fibaro Motion Sensors and would like the HC2 to switch the Heating and HW. I also want the ability to boost the Heating or Hotwater if needed. I want to use the temperature info from these to get the Heating to switch on if the temperature drops below certain value.

I have got quite a few spare 1.5kw Fibaro relays.

Has anyone wired in their Heating and Hot water based on the existing system? This is what I have. I would like to get this replaced with the relays. I have asked Fibaro UK and have had feedback from them as to how to wire it. I would like some real world examples of people having done this and any gotcha's to be aware of.

I have attached 2 pictures of what I have at present.

Thanks in advance.

Raj
