At least 8 221 relays gone dead the last 4 months with shorted contacts.

3 different types of the load:

1. 2 60W lamp

2. 4 15W AC/DC power supply

3. 2 25W AC/DC power supply

Bad luck or ... ?

Normal wall socket voltage? (230 V)

The AC/DC power supplies might make sense depending on how they are designed, but the 60 W bulb absolutely shouldn't give any issues.

As Dalle says, the power supplies might be a reason for the relays failing, but the 60 W lamp shouldn't be any problem. Although I see more people experience problems with the relays failing, it is important to note that these tiny relays are very prone to failure if they are switched on and off a couple of times within a few seconds. That's when they get hot they need a certain amount of time to cool down before you toggle their state again. This isn't referenced in the manual, but in my opinion a critical factor in longevity of the relays.

There are a lot of DC an AD motors from 15W to 300W, functioning well.

There are 200W, 350W and 2*350W AC/DC power supplies doing well.

But just 60W "old-style" bulbs ... Can't find any hint

It isn't too hard to rework the relay, but deinstall/install 221s - it is make me crazy!
