I just got some new fibaro switches (1x3kW) but I cannot include them. Other forums state that the b-button should be pressed 3 times VERY fast, but I cannot press it any faster. I've tried to exclude, reset and add many times, and have not yet had any luck. It's in close range to the HC2.

My other older switches seemed to include easily, and I don't remember needing to push the b-button more than once...

Any suggestions?

Try first to exclude them and then include.

reboot the controller... I have had a similair issue before. After a reboot include was going fine.

Also location , location , location .. make sure you are close to the mesh before you try. I've temp wired mine and included them all before putting them in so as to avoid the distance issue in my place.

Cheers,

al.

I've connected all 4 in parallel, 2 meters from the HC2. I've tried successively deleting/adding by using the web admin page and pusling b-button 3 times, but nothing happens - the add/delete dialogs shows nothing.

How should one go about getting any real support for this, not at all cheap, product? I consider myself pretty experienced with it, after installing a lot of different modules, but I have no more ideas of what to try...

One thing I haven't tried, is testing with version 4.018 since my Danfoss thermostats didn't work with this version, but the modules should be backwards compatible, shouldn't they?

I was successful in adding them in 3.591 and 4.017. I'm not sure what all 4 in parallel means ? I wired mine up one at a time so it was powered, without lights, bounced the button a dozen times till they registered and then wait for 3 to 5 minutes to let them finish including themselves. turn em on and off a couple of times ( you can hear them activate ) then i'd de-wire and add the next one, bounce the button a dozen times quickly and stop once it registered .. until all were registered, then took them out and wired them all in properly to the switches and lights. One other thing .. .. the button 3 times thing never worked for me, it was more a matter of 'bouncing' on the button a number of times and they would register. I'd be confident it is something you are doing wrong ? especially over 4 of them.. I've added over 20 of them the way i've outlined without issue and in 3.5xx betas and 4.0xx betas. Hope this helps but let us know if it still doesn't work !

    Cheers,

    al.
