Lights with motion sensor -- scene help

Ok, so I have set up scenes to turn on the lights when movement is detected, and then off 15 minutes after last detected movement. This works fine, but in the bathroom I have RGBW controllers and LED strips that I sometimes like to dim. The problem is that, when dimmed, the next time movement is detected, they turn on at full blast again.

I have tried linking movement to a scene that first checks whether the lights are OFF, and only then turn them on, but of course, this cannot be an active scene, or the lights will never be off. I have noticed similiar instances; when manually starting a scene with conditions; the THEN actions are performed regardless of whether the conditions are met or not. I may have missed something obvious here, though.

How can I get around this problem? In short; I want to keep having the lights turn on at detected motion, but if I dim the lights I want them to stay dimmed.

And; I am on the Home Center Lite, so no LUA. (I migrated from HomeSeer, and when choosing between HC2 and HCL, I could not see any reason why I should need LUA, but the block scene capabilities of the HomeCenter are nowhere near that of HomeSeer, so no I keep pushing jobs to my pi running domoticz via virtual devices.)

Not familiar with the RGBW controller but on my fibaro dimmer relay, it is simply informing it to turn on rather then setvalue. This keep the brightness to be what was on previously and switches the light on when required.

Turn ON is what it is set to do. Is the motion sensor/Home Center incompatible with the RGBW controller?

It is the fibaro RGBW controller.

OK then I will let someone else answer it then. I would have assumed that it should do the same as Fibaro Dimmer relay.

As a test, I added a regular Fibaro dimmer (i.e. non RGBW) to this scene. And, yes, when movement is detected, the RGBW controller sets the strips back at full blast, but the lights attached to the regular fibaro dimmer relay stay at the level the have been manually set.

Thus, it seems like these behave dfifferently, making it problematic to program the RGBW controller.

The obvious answer to this is to add a scene condition stating that lights are to be turned on only if they are off (and movement is detected). That works for me.
