Aeotec Heavy duty smart switch set up on HC2 V 4.018

Question

Posted

I just recently bought a new HC2 and upgraded the software to V 4.018.

I have also just recently bought the Aeotec heavy duty smart witch. I'm having difficulty setting this up.

I go tho the norm process of adding a device and then press the action key. It picks it up and runs for a while. It then displays a message regarding waking up the device. Not really sure how to do that. After a while it will return to the normal add device screen.

How ever the only device it loads is a Z-wave Device as attached. No where can i find the normal switch option to control on / off.

Assistance would be appreciated.

trevorbr, I found information that this sensor is based on 5th generation of Z-wave, we are still working on adjustments for our controller in that matter, they should be available in one of next updates.

Any plans on when we get this heavy duty switch supported?

It comes up as a temperature sensor in HC2.....

Dean, does the power metering also work in 4.030?

Is it easy to roll back from 4.031 to 4.030? never tried...
