iPhone App 2.3 Regression !

Hi,

I've just saw in my iPhone a new version ( installed automatically by iOS).

This version 2.3 dont show any more my Virtual device's Icons nor any informations on the Icons.

The Virtual devices section in now non usable.

Can please release a patched version ASAP or at least tell me how to fix this problem. ( As you may know, there is no way back in iOS Apps updates ).

Same here. I had different icons in my virtual devices so I could see if a device is turned on or off etc.

Now my virtual devices show all kinds of crap icons, like Philips bluray or Sharp tv, even though I don't have any of those devices.

Not an Apple user myself but have you tried removing the app and re-installing as that would in my opinion fix a lot of icon related issues!

yassinex, Have you tried to connect locally? It is always recommended to connect local to load icons for the first time. You can also try, as deanrparry said, to reinstall the app. Now it is available in the App Store.

What I did :

1- Deleted Fibaro iOS App then reinstalled it from the iOS App Store

2- Connected to HC2 with the local IP Adress ( 192.168.xx.Xx) thru my VPN Connection. ( I'm Away from home).

3- In Fibaro's App setting, I clicked on Refresh Netword Data.

So....

Nothing changes

I Still have the default VM blue icons ( cube ) and there's no information on that Icons

Same here. First thing I did was remove & install the app. That did the trick last time, after I had to re-add all icons because of a system restore. Not this time. And yes, I'm at home and connecting locally.

This time though, still crappy icons. I have an LG DVD player icon for a virtual device and the icon doesn't change, even though the Lua code should (and used to). Another virtual device has a Panasonic plasma tv and another one has an LG bluray player. None of the icons are changed by Lua in the app.

Actually, now that I look at it, even the virtual device labels don't change in the app anymore!! If I close the virtual device and open it again, it does change. Not the icons though.

Such a pity these kinds of obvious bugs still make it through beta testing. However it seems that not everyone is having the same issue or this topic would be a lot busier

I am experiencing the same issues: no icons for virtual device, but even more important Fibaro switches are not functioning anymore. Have tried to uninstall and re-install the iPhone 2.3 app at home (local connection), no result. Through web interface and iPad app evrything is still working fine.

HC2 firmware -3,951 Beta (very stable version)

Iphone 6, iOS 8.1

Please inform how to fix or undo asap.

I have the same issue too (labels only updated if you leave the VD and request it from the GUI again and icons not shown), already reported in the other topic. Initially I thought it might be related to my VD, but it appears everybody experiences this and other problems.

For starters, I don't get how these bugs even got through beta-testing. Second, I don't feel inclined to do any beta testing with Fibaro anymore, with the crap they produced the past few months. Probably many people feel the same way. So it's not strange that Fibaro doesn't receive as many feedback during their beta stage anymore.

Probably some users will become angry again for taking a swing at Fibaro. In the past weeks people would become annoyed with people complaining in the Beta-topics. If we've now come to the point where Fibaro doesn't do a proper beta-test anymore and simply pushes updates to the appstore, then we've reached an ultimate low if you ask me.

2.3 is full of bugs. I'm really disappointed to Fibaro. Your reputation depends on the published versions. Don't publish these beta versions anymore.
