Help Needed about fibaro relay switch 2X1,5 KW

Hello all,

I am new at fibaro system and i'd appreciate your help. Here's my situation. I installed several devices ( switches, door sensors, multi sensor etc. ).

For a technical reason i had to reset my HC2 and downgrade it to 3.5.90. now comes the issue. i am reinstalling from scratch all my devices but one of my relay switch 2X1,5 is actually concealed and i cannot access it physically. the question is : is there a procedure i can reset and put it into learning mode in order to re-associate it with my hc2?

I guess it should be one method but i could not find out how to. All i can say i have access to my switches obviously but i cannot reach the box where the realay was installed!!! ( there is a big and heavy wardrobe in front of it )

No.

Well, of course, if you have switches wired to it, you can triple click S1 _really_ fast to get the same effect as pushing the button on the module.

But, if you have concealed it, and have no switches attached, you need to get access to module.

i DO have switches wired on it but i don't know which one is S1 and S2

i need to reset the device as it was previously associated to a configuration that does not exist anymore

then i need to put it in learning mode.

do you have a solution for me?

Well, if you put hc2 in learning mode and quickly hit one switch Three times if should add, otherwise repeat with other switch.

I hade momentary (spring loaded) switches, so it helps. Without, you need to be very fast

thanks janjoh i did it (trying with the switches) but hc2 does not detect any device. i guess that's because it was previously associate, indeed i was also looking for a reset procedure. are you aware of it?

xantony, in such case delete device from system 1st: instead of choosing "add device" click "delete device", pop-up will appear, click s1 3 times. It can be a little tricky if you have bi-stable switches. Next try to add it with the same switch.

is this going to work even if the device was added to a previous configuration? as i wrote before i had to downgrade to 3.9. all the devices were added and configured to a 4.18beta configuration, that's why i believe they should be somehow reset but if "deleting" command will reset their previous configuration i guess it's what i need. am i right?

xantony, deleting device resets its memory. Also for each device additional, alternative reset procedure is desribed in manual.

done thank YOU. Only issue now is that motion sensors don't update lux value. any idea why?

xantony, did you wake it up after inclusion? Try decreasing minimum value of lux difference that will trigger report.

done both of the action you listed. was working ok for few hours then it stopped measuring lux values. i set minimum change to report to 50lux

Maybe the Z-wave traffic is the problem? Have you tried to increase reports and polling intervals for all devices? If so I'm afraid the problem might demand a little closer look to the system, please contact [email protected] and our team will take care of this case.
