Ok, bottom line: As I am sure many of you know I have expressed a pretty stern line towards Fibaros policy on (mis)information and the complete lack of anything resembling quality control lately.

The first Fibaro component i bought was my HC2 (obviously) and there has been many fibaro devices since then.

The HC2 was bought in the beginning of april in 2013. So, i am coming up on the two year deadline.

So, unless the fibaro system deliver every single thing i have seen(*) in the glossy marketing material before, and after, my purchase I will take the easy route and push for a full refund from the manufacturer under common consumer EU law.

(*) well, or enough to actually make the system _usable for me_.

I feel your pain. I've been struggling with this system for quite some time and I still find myself trying to get basic things like battery levels reported correctly (

). Is this really too much to ask for in such an expensive system?

No to mention false alarms from Fibaro flood sensors, device X constantly reporting a breach when it was really device Y, randomly dead nodes, devices that randomly set parameter values despite what I tell them to be, temperature readings that drop to 0.00 for a couple of hours and then go back up, a whole bunch of Fibaro wall plugs that are broken, smoke sensors that beep randomly, the frustration of never being able to change battery in Fibaro door sensors without ending up excluding/including them 20 times, the adventure of including a new device (you never know what you gonna get in HC2 - a door sensor, a temperature sensor, or just a brown generic box?), and so on.

It feels like every time I perform a basic task with HC2 I get a totally different result. If I change the battery of 5 devices, I will get 5 completely different results. If i unbox 5 brand new devices  and include them to the network, I will get 5 completely different results, if I change a parameter of 5 devices, I will get 5 different results. It just goes on like this.

I would accept bugs in the more advanced and lesser used features. But when I simply can't get basic things working like battery reporting or being able to turn a light on or off, I feel nothing but humiliated. Am I really so stupid that I can't even get the basics to work?
