CES 2015 just happens to be on these dates

This poll says a lot about the relationship between users and Fibaro.

Absolutely no chance! Beta has far to many issues to even start thinking of a stable date!

This poll make it sound like v4 is actually going to fix the issues we're all having. Since Fibaro doesn't take user reports about dead nodes, false readings and other major issues seriously, there is not even the slightest possibility that v4 is going to make our systems work any better than now.

And you know what. As soon as they release v4, which will likely be close to useless because of all the new features and therefore new bugs, Fibaro will immediately repeat the same mistake and start working on the next major v5 release that will fix everything. And we will all be sitting here being ignored and look stupid, perhaps voting on a "V5 release date poll".

We don't need another major release, we need an attitude change, quality assurance and a completely different development lifecycle.

Totally agree - shame the Managing Director clearly thinks otherwise.

My few £K earmarked for home automation is shortly going elsewhere if i don't see satisfactory replies from Fibaro about the products withdrawn in Sweden and a V4 that isn't permanently beta (or Alpha in the case of Fibaro for IOS).

I did only create this poll in jest, i've already moved my HA system back to Indigo. I was pretty horrified when I tried the V3.590 and how bad it was, then the Alpha's and Betas were so poor, however engine was certainly better, couldn't have been any worse, but the fatal flaws in the HC2 design (USB recovery procedure) and the way in which Fibaro develop software is pretty poor for a company with aspirations of breaking the US.

2014 has been a nightmare year for Fibaro. They still haven't gotten there much touted V4 to market as stable and the big boys have now entered the market, unless Fibaro really have some serious overhaul, they will not survive the next 5 years.
