Set device parameter value with LUA code

Question

Posted

Hi guys,

Is it possible to set a device's parameters through LUA code? I've added the Aeon Lab Siren to my HC2 and I'm able to control the volume and alarm type using parameters I've defined manually through the interface but I need to change these through my code ideally to send different signals for different events.

Please let me know if this is possible and if so how.

Thanks!

    Thanks Krikroff,

Do I need the .Net SDK or Toolkit software to be able to run this code or it'll work on HC2 out of the box?

khoshtip, put this code in the button in a virual device. The code cannot be run in a scene, only in virtual device.
