Aeon Multisensor - sending emails whether armed or disarmed?

Hi,

Having a bit of trouble with the HC-Lite 3.593 and the Aeon 4-1 multisensor.

It's sending me emails whether the HCL thinks it's armed or disarmed.

The emails are from this setting on the device:

That's the "Notify me by email of breach..."

Have I misunderstood "Arm" and "Disarm"? It seems the "Notify me of breach" is always active???

Sensor is breached when it sees movement. It has nothing to do with alarm status. Same goes with door and window sensors, they change between breached / safe states when door or window opens / closes.

Right - sorry - going to have to ask for some help again...

Been through the alarm panel and it's not making sense.

I think I've set up a Notification OK and the panel sees the AEON PIR device. This is now armed.

However, I cannot Arm the alarm. I think I have a complete misunderstanding of this.

Does Device->Arm mean "use this device in the central alarm panel"?

Arming device arms the alarm partially (indicated by half-green bulb), to arm all devices go to Alarm Panel and click slider beneath alarm indicator. Remember alarm will not be fully set when any sensor is breached. But once again, notification you set in attached picture has nothing to do with alarm, it will simply send an e-mail when motion is sensed.
