Schlage LE162 Door Lock - When will it be supported

G'day,

I was wondering when Schlage LE162 door lock will be supported. I was migrated for Schlage Link in Australia when they closed that down. We were sent some prototype images but haven't seen anything since.

Support for Z-wave locks, schalge models among them, is added in beta version and will be available in GA one.

Hi guys, I also have the LE162 and am looking forward to seeing it supported for the HC2. I have had it for some time now. The reason I purchased it was because it was promoted on the lock that it works with Fibaro. Can you advise of when the GA version supporting Schlage will be available? Are we able to get a beta version to test it with the lock?

Hi Loopez, I have just successfully enrolled the LE162 and am able to tell it to lock and un-lock using Fibaro. This was done using the stable HC2 V4.033 release.I am still after the parameters from Fibaro to set up the added functionality. Any one from Fibaro able to provide those parameters?

I'm waiting for the upgrade for HCL to version 4, so I can access my LE162 again, as promised eighteen months ago.

In addition to basic functionality, I would like to have remote PIN programming, with allocation to various named users, and to to be able to view a log of door entries made by users.

This was a feature of the Schlage LiNK system (no longer supported here), so it is within the hardware's capability.

I am looking at Schlage Lock for my Holiday House and currently going down the path with Fibaro HC/2

If it doesnt work I need to put the breaks on EXTREMELY Quickly......

Hi there,

 

I am currently using V4.051 Beta and the LE162 will lock and unlock when not in dead bolt mode. The web interface changes the status within a couple of seconds, but the android app takes about 30sec, to 2 minutes. The green/red indicator on the android app is inverted showing it is locked when unlocked, and vice versa.

 

I too am after the features of changing PINs, setting holiday mode, using "one time use" PINs, logging, turning dead bolt on and off...

 

I can provide a copy of the device template if this helps the developers.
