Problems with Düwi ZME battery powered Wall-Switch

Question

Posted

Hi all,

I have an issue with my new Duwi Wall switches. I bought 4 of them 2 weeks ago but only setup one in my closet.

What I did: Include switch in HC2, assigned 2 Fibaro relay switches to Wall switch via switch association (clicking 3 times on switch, then 3x on Relay)

Everything was working.

Then after a week the Wall switch suddenly died. It did not respond, even with new batterys configuration was not possible etc.

I used another one (new) and did the same as before (including etc).

After a week the switch was dead again, this time the battery was empty.

Does someone one know why this all happend, or where the problem is?

Do I have to include the switch to the HC2? Because actually it is working also without it...

Cheers

Hi Joystick

I have also DUWI ZWAVE-ME (the flat version)

First, it is not very easy to include them.. I have them since 1 year and I don't have any problem with battery. I changed the battery for only one of my DUWI (I have 2 DUWI) after many months of use. I just changed the battery and It works fine. I included the DUWI on the HC2, knowing that the HC2 can't interact with DUWI and DUWI can't interact with HC2. So I associated them with a FGS like you

This is my experience regarding DUWI. Sorry I can't help you

David
