Electrical Charge on HC2 Body

Question

Posted

I touched my HC2 chassis the other day and I got a shock (no pun intended), it definitely is an electrical charge. I have not bothered to unplug it yet. It is connected to the power outlet via the 2 prong socket provided as standard which I presume only carry live and neutral (without ground). Has anybody encountered this ?

How would I go about in troubleshooting this.

First check your lan cable. If there is metallic shield on RJ45 connectors, change it to cable with plastic connectors.
