Stop annoying beep from smoke sensor FGSS-001?!

Recommended Posts

Hi!

I have bought two Fibaro smoke sensors to use with my Vera. Both makes random beeps and I'm going crazy!

I have tried changing variable 80 to 0, disabling the Z-Wave range test but I still gets random beeps.

The controller is in an adjoining room so I do not think it is a range error.

Anyone have any ideas?

    Both battery powered.

I think the Smoke Sensor beeps both when it's out of range, and when the battery is low?

I have exactly the same issue, intermittent beep on smoke sensor at night. New battery setted up, include and exluded, same problem, really intermittent, can not be zwave network problems because they are 3 others zwave module in same room...

Please help fibaro because it is unacceptable for a smoke sensor... (almost as false smoke alerts...)

    Same issue here.

As a very minimum couldn't the LED light up to show what the current state is?

    - Low bat

    - No ZWave network

    - Smoke detected and not yet reset

    - High temp detected

    - Internal test fault

    Etc
