Hi guys,

Long time listening, first time poster! I'm keen gardener and was looking at bolting on an irrigation sytem to my FIBARO install. Has anyone tried this yet and can give some tips?

My planned approaches is either:

Rain butt collection water from outside, gravity feeding into a pipe with a 12V solenoid valve

12v valve attached to an RGBW controller set to switch not dim

soil hygrometer - normally closed, when soil is dry becomes open - attached to universal sensor

FIBARO opens the valve when the soil is dry, gravity feeds the water to the plants

OR:

Rain butt as before, with submerged 12V water pump

Goose neck in pipe prevents water from feeding until underpressure

water pump is on RGBW controller or Relay

hygrometer into univeral sensor trigger the pump

Anyone tried either approach so far?
