Guest Axel

Question

Guest Axel

Hi,

I didn't get any changes from my Aeon Labs Multisensor.

The Assosiation Group 1 is set to 1 for Settings, for Viewing I cant set a value.

Wakeup Time is 4080.

Waking up on battery is off.

Parameter 101 is 224.

Paramert 111 is 300.

Anyone knows what is wrong ?

I'm on the 4.023 Beta.

I fixed this by setting parameters (as i mentioned in the bug that is mentioned above)

113 : 3600

111 : 240

And the sensors have been flawless ever since.

(please note that

means that you have to change one parameter, then wait for the device to wake up, and then change the next one.)

They can be tricky to include, especially on firmware 4.024. That may be related to bug 0002314: 4.024 Unable to soft reconfigure Aeon MultiSensor aka 4 in 1. I've included one myself and I think there are a few issues: 1) keep trying include until al 4 sensor show (not ok if only 1 shows, try again exclude/include). 2) Look carefully at the red LED. If it stops blinking, wait a few seconds and hit the button again (1 times, 3 times, I don't know) and see if you get a green remark in the status window at the top 3) Try it from a small distance from the HC2, I would say < 1 meter. To give you an idea: it took between 5 and 10 attempts to get one included. But the units are working very well. Just don't do a (soft) reconfigure.

Edit: you might conclude from my remarks that I don't know what the official procedure for the MultiSensor is... I have the manual, it just doesn't work as expected.
