Hi All,
Basically I was looking at a Dialler (Honeywell/Pyronix etc) so that, in the event of Burglary (or something else) I could get the unit to dial particular phone numbers with a message and even call it up to listen in etc. Now these units are quite cheap £40-£80.
However I then started, out of interest, looking at the Satel 32 board + Ethernet module (which I am guessing is minimum needed seeing as they sell it with HC2 listed below it!). I see that it says it has a dialler but, maybe being instructions in Polish, doesn't go into it much. So what I want to know is the following please.....
1) Can the dialler in Satel 32 do the same i.e. phone up UK numbers and 'say' something specific i.e. from an event in Fibaro or whatever
2) Can you phone up the dialler and listen in
3) Does Satel actually work well with HC2 or not?
4) Anyone used the RFID stuff? Good or not?
5) Do the wireless sensors work well i.e. ABAX with Satel 32?
6) Is it reliable or not?
I have 3.590. Does it work with that? Does it work with the new non-stable but about to be 'Stable' release or not? Just looking for information in general as to whether its worth it or not to be honest.
KR, Dave
