Devolo Power Plugs - Fibaro Wall Plug

Question

Posted

All,

I have a couple of Develo powerline devices installed at my home. When I installed a Fibaro Wall Plug for the first time this weekend, I noticed network problems. On Sunday morning, I found that two of the Develo plus were fried - Is it possible that those powerline plugs are incompatible with the Finaro Wall Plug?

Thanks!

Cheers

Alfons

This should not be the case, but as these plugs use the powerline to communicate with each other it probably has got something to do with the fact that only one of the two pins get's disconnected by the Fibaro Wall plug.

Maybe only the null got disconnected and a high current from the fase went through the chip... (not sure if this is possible?)

    Hi Steven,

maybe my post was not clear enough: The Fibaro Plug and the Powerline Adapater were in different outlets, though next to each other. So I didn't insert the powerline adapter into the Fibaro plug.
