Question

Posted

Dear Fibaro,

can I know if the device ZIPATO MINI KEYPAD RFID/Z-WAVE is supported or plan to be supported in V 4.0

I need a device to arm/disarm my Fibaro Alarm ......... RFID seems to be OK, and the ability to use either rfid or manual code is great.

Please let me know , i need to know before buy

Yeah, it seems we have to get the status from "class: 0x71 COMMAND_CLASS_ALARM_V2" according to the manual:

It is working, but you can only disarm via the rfid-tag and arm with an user-code. The buttons "home" & "away" are without function.

It seems they are working on fixing support it now.

In the newest beta firmware, they added the needed commands to program the zipato rfid tag reader.

I will try and make a working script for it today or tomorrow.

A little note regarding the Home and Away status. According to the manual, the tag or code you enter, must be in the usercode table for it to sent the Home or Away status. That's the reason why you can not see it in the device api page.

I will try and experiment with it tonight

Hi,

could you please tell me how exactly do you put your RFID code because when i check mine in the devices it shows something longer like:

\\u009F\\u00F5\\u00BG\\u009FB\\u0000\\u0001\\u0004\\u0000\\u0000\

Should i put the hole string?

Well kinda. When setUesrCode is sent to KeyPad, it actually inserts something in the slot, just not into the code itself. I tried everything now. Tried with a 10 hexadecimal code, like its described in the manual, but just dosent insert it. The guys at the opensource project "Open-Source-Automation" seems to have support for it now. Here's the configuration file

I really hope Fibaro will try and get the setUserCode working soon, since thats the only thing missing for us to get it working.

Found this in the RazberryPie Z-wave documentation:

Command Class UserCode Set Syntax: Set(user, code, status = 0, successCallback = NULL, failureCallback = NULL)

Description: Send UserCode Set Parameter user: User index to set code for (1...maxUsers) 0 means set for all users Parameter code: Code to set (4...10 characters long)

Parameter status: Code status to set

Parameter successCallback: Custom function to be called on function success. NULL if callback is not needed

Parameter failureCallback: Custom function to be called on function failure. NULL if callback is not needed

Seems that 4.080 have broken something ..... are you able to use the rfid reader anymore with 4.080 ?
