Triggered motion means 255?

Question

Posted

I have a Fibaro motion Sensor that worked for months with this code

Please login or register to see this code.

Now I had to change it to this because being triggered it now sends the status 255 instead of 1.

Please login or register to see this code.

What is wrong there?

I'm still on 3.591.

I've been using 255 instead of 1 from who knows when.

Did you come up with the lua code yourself?

You can create block scene and change to lua to see how does they code.

Yes it is my code. I used it for many months and last week it stopped working because the motion sensors now have the state of 255 instead of 1. Now I changed all my scenes accordingly.

It's just weird that it happened because I didn't update HC2.

Version 3 was know to have "dynamic" devices... Motion sensor can turn into temperature device and probably the other way around. If have a device that measures consumption in "Lux" instead of "Watt". Did that happen to you?

That happened to me way too many times. But it was not the case with the motion sensors this time. They all stopped working like that a few days ago.
