Greenwave Powernode and 4.024

Question

Posted

Hi. I had Greenwave powernode working ok in 4.024 (it was added when HC2 was on 4.019 - then there was no power metering and there were 7 not 6 devices. Then it was 20-23 and 4.024 fixed the power metering problem).

Now I had to restore my HC2 back to original 3.590. Upgraded to 4.024 immediately and re-added the Powernode. Now I have a problem again - no power consumption, 7 devices. Plus a new problem, as per attachment - HC2 tells me constantly to reconfigure zwave on Powernode. When i do that, the warning stays. Can you help?

At the moment, the ZWAVE tab is a bit misleading in certain cases. Devices can be listed here for two completely different reasons... The first one is bad, it will list the device as unconfigured and you can be more or less certain that it won't work. The second reason is "missing template" and it is a whole lot less severe. It tells you that there is no nice sheet of parameters and default values for the device. I think you can "reconfigure" a million times... since 4.024 doesn't have a template it will stay on this list. Anyway... that doesn't explain your problem.

Have a look at

- ticket closed but describes 7 port problem

Interesting.. Mine is v4.21. Hiding the 7th device is OK for now, but still no power metering is not working still. Strange thing is that when i did gradual upgrade in the past from HC2 019 to 024 it started working in 024

Further to that: first outlet (that has enegry metering, others do not) has Use Template : Yes and "power" in the interfaces:

    Other nodes do not:

    Hi

I have Powernode 6 working on 4.032 but with problems, mainly every some time, irregularly sockets are turned off and back on. This is very disturbing as I usually watch TV (connected to the device) when it happens.

Here is what I did already:

    - removed and added (several times now)

    - set parameter 1 to 128 (helps only for flashing light)

    - tried setting pollingTimeSec to 50 (another flashing problem tweak) but couldn't - tries both using web interfase or through API

    has anybody encountered similar problem?

    what can be done?

    Fabrikant: GreenWave Reality Inc.

lukaszpiech, What can You done is to delete PowerNode from system, then try to reset it to factory settings, restart Your HC2 and then try to add it again. Hope it will help.

hmm, I was removing it and re-adding to the system, but how do I reset it to default settings?
