Videogate on the Iphone

Hello,

I have a videogate device on my fibaro system on my doorbell with video. It's working on the browser, but when I click on the videogate on my Iphone I get no device type found (see screenshot). I have enough rights that I known, anybody else got this working? I am running on 3.591

add a switch or any relay and it might work i remember seeing exactly the same issue on 3.x releases! without a switch/relay it would not work!

Hi RemcoPloeg.

I am experiencing the same (version 4.100, iPad app 1.100 on ios 10.0.2 and Iphone app 2.11.00 on ios10.0.2).

 

What works :

- create a videogate

- see videogate functionality working on iPad (doorbell pushed, videogate activated on ipad)

 

Things I cannot solve but would expect to work :

- it does not run on iPhone app (same as you mentioned: intercom not active and mesage "Geen apparaten van dit type")

- activate videogate on iPad without someone pushing the doorbell

- change settings in videogate like:

   - the icon

   - the sound of the doorbell

   - position and zoom of camera

- 

 

Wondering if and how you solved/proceeded.

sorry... the advise deanrparry give earlier does the trick; Before I only added a camera and the doorbell... after adding a 'fake' switch to open the gate the behaviour in the iPhone was as expected.

 

(Other questions still remain:

- change settings in videogate like:

   - the sound of the doorbell

   - position and zoom of camera)

I am glad that you figured it out. About other questions:

- it is not possible for now, we will consider it;

- changing camera position is possible using joystick (on iPad) or arrow button below camera view. They are available to use if you have set turn URLs in cameras advanced settings. There is no special button for zooming camera, but if it is important for you and your camera supports it, you can set zoom in/out URLs instead of some turn URLs. It is also possible to zoom in/out camera picture using standard iOS zooming gestures (pinching and tapping).
