Danfoss LC 13

Question

I'm testing the Danfoss LC13 for the first time.

Connection seems to be pretty good.

I don't understand the wakeup interval settings.

In the advanced settings polling is set to 1800.

In the ipad app or UI i can change a time value.

Is this a wakeup overruling the settings in advanced settings ?

If so, it doens't work, wakeup is every 1800 seconds, checked that.

What are the best settings ?

The value in the ipad app is probably the temperature slope. So if you set it to 2 hours, it will gradually heat up over two hours (instead of burst opening the thermostat, overflowing the radiator and wasting a lot of delicious heat).

The wake up interval is the seconds between when the thermostat wakes up on the zwave network and requests an update from the controller. This determines how often you can update the temperature, but not the increase/decrease gradient. Reducing the wakeup interval will reduce battery life, increasing the wakeup interval will mean fewer temperature changes and that you need to set the desired temperature earlier (i.e. If you want to turn to 22 degrees at 0700 and the thermostat last woke up 0658, then if the wake up interval is 1800, it will receive the new setpoint at 0728, but if it is 3600, it will only receive it at 0758).
