Question

Posted

The Fibaro RGBW shows led strip on a bath as a potential application - red light for hot water etc. I was wondering how to best implement this? Where and how to put the temp sensor and which one? I understand it would need to be at least IP67 waterproof sensor but which one? And how to place it?

Cheers.

Lukasz

I guess the outside of the bath itself dissipates heat too so maybe stick a sensor to the outer shell??

you could use a battery power door/window sensor with a dallas sensor attached and bond to the underside of the bath and calibrate the temp difference?

or use a binary sensor and have it powered for more accurate measurements!

    both will work nicely!
