Virtual Devices 'Power Button'

Question

Posted

Whenever I create a virtual device there seems to be a power button associated with it in on the icon displayed in the devices tab.

Is there any way of:

1. Detecting that the button has been pressed (in LUA) ?

2. Influence it's state i.e. make it's on/off state sticky rather than momentary as it currently acts.

Purpose is simple really, I'd like a device style icon to be able to manage the variables I have setup.

Thanks

AG.

Building on the question,

Can someone provide a clear explanation of the purpose of the two tick box - "Favourite" and "Main" against buttons on virtual devices. It would be good to understand what a VD will display in various situations ie the summary view as a "widget" rather than when fully opened/displayed for use?

It would be even better if the default "power" button could be re-purposes in LUA.

Is there documentation on this somewhere that I have overlooked or missed?

Cheers
