Qubino dimmer and 4.x?

Question

Posted

Hello!

I found a post on another forum that the Qubino dimmer is not working very well with 4.x, but at least dims in 3.5x ..

Can someone offer any insigth to Qubino and 4.x?

And do they support scene activation?

Well, somewhat. They worked 100% for me in 3.6.

Now on 4.03 they first reported wrong energy measures so I reconfigured, got 1 working sometimes.

Reconfigured again and both display a z wave icon and show that they are not configured.

Now nothing can be done.

Will have to remove and add manually on the dimmer tomorrow and see if I get it working again.

Stay tuned

It did not work with HC interface.

Had to remove my wall outlets and switches.

The dimmer now works again after manual remove-include on the dimmer.

There is no sceneActivation but thats a Qubino issue / missing feature.

A big downer is also not being able to use I2 and I3 to control other dimmers with monostabile switches.

Only On and Off work, again Qubino issue.

You also get 2 bonus motion detectors and a somewhat cold temperature (no temp sensor connected though)

So basic dimmer with power reporting = OK for me.
