Question
dw89 8
Hi All,
I have a scene, via Homescreen widget, which, when pressed asks for my User PIN code (set in access management) then, basically fires off other scenes to set alarm/motion etc based on various other things. At the moment I can arm/disarm via this (or main Fibaro alarm icon) but this is simpler as it does all that I want it to. I can do it via iOS or Keyfob etc.
What I would like to know is, lets say, in the event of a burglary (or whatever you want to call it) and you are 'forced' to give a PIN code to burglar to 'DISARM' house I want to be able to give a 'false' PIN which, instead of really turning alarm off, will actually turn sirens off but still notify police, do PUSH notifications etc etc. At the moment I cannot see how to do this other than be forced to simply use my current scene for setting ONLY and (force my wife) to user ANOTHER scene (or fibaro alarm icon) to disarm. If I did that I could change scene code to say that if _alarmActivated ==0 then 'set' elseif _alarmActivated ==1 then 'pretend to be off for burglar'
My problem is that you cannot, that I know of, set scene specific PIN codes but it's just one per user set in access mgt. panel.
Any help, tricks, workarounds, obvious things I'm missing appreciated as I would really like to do both from the one panel i.e. Set/Disarm AND 'false' disarm based on specific PIN code.
KR, Dave
