Hello guys

I have OSRAM LED (non Dimmable)

-LED STAR CLASSIC B 15 2 W/827 E14

-PARATHOM CLASSIC A 60 10 W/827 E27

-PARATHOM PRO MR16 42 36° ADV 8 W/827 GU5.3

-SubstiTUBE Value

I want to control them ON/OFF

Since i dont want to wire a neutral in the switch i prefer to use a universal dimmer and use it as ON/OFF relay.

All circuits are under 300 w

My question is, from my experience using a fibaro relay with LED lights causes some sticking problems. Will I have the same issue?

Is it advisable to use an external relay?

Thank you

Some people have had issues with the relays sticking using LED lighting. It is related to inrush current. Someone on the forum created a diagram for a "snubber" IIRC and this helps prevent inrush problems that cause the welding of the relays

So i will face the same problem with "Dimmer" when it is converted to a relay (changing the parameter)

I have overcome some of the problem with using a high rating (Schneider) relay connected to the Double relay.

But this time I want to use dimmer (no neutral)

You can try changing the parameter of the dimmer. Try setting the minimum dimming to 99%.

That way if you change the slider value anywhere below 100% it should turn off the light.
