I just want to point out some things.

At first I was very disappointed from version 4, left with little to no functionality. However after some reconfiguration I have a better system than before, apart from the bugs I expect Fibaro to fix soon including the following:

  • - RGBW shows on - but it isn't
    - No way to import custom plugins
    - Not possible to change the icon of a switch/light
    - Missing templates
    - Lots of spelling errors in or missing translations German
    - Philips Hue plugin crashes/hogs the Hue bridge
    - Netatmo plugin fails after some time

But the support people seem to care a lot, even if the priority CES seems a bit high these days. Thanks for that.

So please keep that in mind when posting evil topics because that leads to nothing. I know it's emotional and I was angry as well.

It's not like they have V10 but don't want to release it. They are working on it, what more do some of you expect to receive by threatening Fibaro or attacking individuals?

And yes Fibaro, we are waiting for 4.1!

Don't forget that the award winning motion sensor is after update unable to be configured!

You seriously think that is good enough? Thats the same excuse we did get since I don't know when. I don't see anyone "working on it".

Of course, I can't speak for anyone else, but I at least expect an official statement, containing an apology, indicating a timeframe for the next version that will contain nothing but bugfixes. Afterwards, I expect that version to be followed by another bug-fix version and so on...

Until this happens, I feel it's fully justified to post on twitter, facebook or wherever. I agree that personal attacks are not OK, but honestly, I can't find any.

If everyone that spent money on the HC2 will just continue to keep quite, fibaro will basically continue to rip people off. That's what's happening here, in my opinion. They are after the quick money, trying to lure more people into there product while NOT delivering whats promised, hell, not evening delivering a stable system at all.

.

Thats what i want to. But they just keep quiet and that makes me more angry. They are on CES2015 pretending that everything is just golden. Holding that fake facade. The more they keep quiet the more pissed and the more i feel ripped of by Fibaro.

dawiinci: The frustration often expressed all over this forum is purely due to the gap between Fibaros marketing promises and the systems functionality.

If you promise something you need to fullfil to keep your credibility. So far Fibaro shows no sign of understanding this basic concept.

Until they do, the harsh critics is nothing but righteous.

Promised functionality that simply isn't there is one thing, but the fact that serious bugs in the most basic functionality still exist after all this years is nothing but unbelievable.

It makes you wonder what the quality assurance process looks like.

"So the growing number of angry and disappointed users seem to have pretty high expectations on this v4 release, should we do some quality assurance? Yeah, lets try to do something advanced like, ehm, I don't know, change an icon? Nope, didn't work. Lets try to reconfigure a device. Nope didn't work. Lets see if the smoke sensor reports it's temperature. Nope, didn't work. Oh well, I'm sure no user will notice. The rest of the software is probably flawless. Lets create a cool logo and call it a revolutionary release!"
