Simply you must send back "all" your HC2 box to Fibaro support, not just your USB PEN, and stay without your home automation during this time.

If Image is corrupted while memory status is "Ok" there still may be chance to fix it remotely, please contact support for a session to make sure. Agent who will respond to your case will give you all information needed regarding next step.

robmac, there is a difference between the failure of Recovery memory, which still requires full warranty procedure, and other recovery-related issues that may be repaired remotely. I'm not saying we can for sure repair all controllers mentioned in that thread, but at the same time there are few things that may be worth checking.

So if the top value in diagnostics is ok then it might be possible to copy new file system to the usb?

Why would it not be possible?

Will it be possible to upgrade to newer recovery version?

OK so still not open and honest.

Why? what is the issue with being able to save and restore the image of the USB so if the image is corrupted it can be restored without having to waste Fibaro support time.
