Home Center 2 Version 4.030 and Leviton Vizia RF VRCS-4

Hello,

Is someone have tried to include a Leviton Vizia RF VRCS-4 on the Home Center 2 and the V4.030 ?

Lot of people here in North America use these devices, but we find no information about that. If someone has the solution to integrate and configure this one, please give us the solution.

I have HC2 for almost a year now. Got it as alpha user in US a year ago and finally started include devices on after 4.031 release as I was waiting for a stable version. So I have a clean install.

Yes I have included both VRCS4 and VRCZ4 (7 of them). The inclusion is tricky as you first need to prepare the 4 button controller ready to be included by pressing button 1 and 3 at the same time for 5 second, and then you press the include button in HC2. And make sure that HC2 is close (less than a feet) to the controller. That was the only way I was able to reliably include them to HC2.

Once included HC2 says it is missing the template which I am not sure what that means. I am guessing we need Fibaro to officially support Leviton devices and hard code the parameters there.

The associations for zone controller works perfectly fine. If you want to control scenes with different dim levels for the scene controller, that is not something I was able to do off the shelf. Once I finish including all my devices, I am planning to write scripts to do the scene controlls exactly as I wanted to be.

One last thing that the led lights on VRCS4 and VRCZ4 buttons have their own behavior. If I switch on light through controller, then they work fine but if I switch off either through the original switch or through iPad, it just stays lit.

Let me know if there are other lessons learned you have...
