Just use 'Growl' and change you LUA scenes, this is always working on your IPhone.

william.abbo, how do you use Growl? Do you have a tutorial for that?

I also use Prowl for other push notifications and indeed it works flawlessly. Nevertheless it's on my wishlist that Fibaro just fixes this issue rather than letting the users finding workarounds.

Is Fibaro aware of this? Even in 4.0.31 it isn't fixed (guessing the push will be sent over Fibaro servers, not directly from HC2). Shouldn't be such a big problem if it is really just a changed API.

    The problem is very important.

They are aware of it since months. But they don't fix it. Either with too low priority or no knowledge.

I usually get a message when a flood happens. Right now I don't. Most people aren't aware of this anyway until something happens. This would be a reason to sue Fibaro in many countries so I don't understand why they don't care at all.

I don't believe that they can be sued at all. And this wouldn't solve that problem anyway, so I will create a ticket regarding this pointing to this thread. It is under case number #16183.

    All the best

lukaszpiech: I wrote Growl, but this must be Prowl. I have made a virtual device which will be triggered when there is an alarm.

Fill in your API-key which can be obtained from the Prowl site.

This way you need a virtual machine for every possible message.. I would like Fibaro to see the light and help *us*. I want to be able to use pushover or growl within lua scripts so I can push variable msgs.

You are right and I wouldn't do it. But Fibaro is entering US market and they tend to sue a bit more than Europeans.

But I hope this constructive topic will help them to fix. Thanks for your ticket.

My guess is, it's yet an other bug.. I did solve the problem for me, but I don't want to use their own push anyway. I'm using pushover.net to push msgs. I've made a lua script that can push a msgs stored in a global variable.

sj3fk3: It looks nice , and it´s free :=) I like that. Fibaro doesn't seams to care.

sooo, please can you tell me about your lua script and how you store it in global var. Maybe an example ?
