main_zwave_device 4.0.30

Question

From what I can see. Every zwave device shows under this "main z wave device" when you look under options. Everything seems to work anyway.

Any solution to fix it or is this normal?

In new firmware virtual "Main Z-wave device" was created to represent physical module in the system, while every endpoint (e.g. relays in Relay Switches or Thermometer in Motion Sensor) is represented as its child device. "Main Z-wave device" should be hidden and only accessible in General view, otherwise device has not been properly configured and reconfiguration needs to be performed.

If Main Z-wave device is hidden in devices menu it is desired state.

from an architectual and programmers perspective it is the desired behaviour and understandable. But for a general user it does not make any sense to have the "main_zwave_device"...

Can you imagine apple or google using a term like that? it is not relevant for the user, so why show it at all? :->

Main device menu looks like this. So everything is ok then, I guess.

My flood sensor started to indicate low battery after uppgrade. Its on external dc, is there any solution except exclude - include again?

    Good part of this is.

When you see main device this means there is a problem with this device.
