Smoke sensor associations and scene trigger

Recommended Posts

Hi.

Recently upgraded to 4.031, after happily using 3.590 for a while.

I have a major issue with 4.031 where my smoke sensors does not trigger scenes, so my siren is never activated. Scene works just fine if triggered manually on the hc2.

Tried all sorts of debugging, reconfigured smoke sensors, changed scene values (breached and armed, breached etc).

Also when adding associations (for my lights to go to 100% if smoke is detected), it is impossible to add new devices to 1st group association (did not try 2nd or 3rd).

I tested a smoke sensor by changing temperature trigger threshold to 30C and placed it in front of a heating fan. Once it triggered, all dimmers that was previously associated light up to 100%, but that's it. My siren is also associated, but it was never triggered through association, nor was it in 3.590. The siren acts as a on/off switch with no parameters (Vision siren). Parameter 7 on smoke sensor is set to 99%.

Also, I noticed that the smoke sensor icon never changes, it did in 3.590, also when tamper is triggered (which also set of my siren via scene in 3.590).

Since the smoke sensors is not triggering my siren scene, I'm forced to revert to 3.590!

Edit: debugging while smoke sensor is beeping!

fibaro:debug(fibaro:getValue(183, "value")) returns 0

fibaro:debug(fibaro:getValue(183, "fibaroAlarm")) returns 0

fibaro:debug(fibaro:getValue(183, "tamper")) returns 0 (smoke sensor is removed from base)

eg1l, how it is beeping?

maybe that is a alert of malfunction of chamber? beep is every 1s can take min 10s. He is turned ON when sensor will find problem in chamber

Well, I guess it is not a chamber problem since I changed the default heat threshold from 54C to 30C and placed it in front of a heating fan, and then waited until the temperature reached 30C.

eg1l, test was on 4.x? it should have a alarm on icon smoke with temperature sensor bul one of last parameters must be on true for do use compensation in alarm

As I understand, in 4.030 there is now 3 devices for a smoke sensor, and that I should have been using the temperature alarm sensor for my scene. However, when creating scenes it is only possible to choose the master device.

So, has anyone successfully associated smoke sensors with a siren?
